Wednesday Night Pistol League
The Wednesday Night Pistol League focuses on competitive bullseye shooting. The Bridgeport Rifle Club host this league on Wednesday nights in the Spring, and Fall, and is open to members and non-members alike. The league begins at 5:00pm on Wednesday evenings, with informal relays running until approx. 8:00pm.
The curse of fire is a 30 round gallery match consisting of:
10 rounds of slow fire:
Fired in one 10 shot string with a time limit of 10 minutes, on the B-2 target.
10 rounds of timed fire:
Fired in two 5 shot strings with a time limit of 20 seconds per string, on the B-3 target.
10 round of rapid fire
Fired in two 5 shot strings with a time limit of 10 seconds per string, on the B-3 target.
All courses of fire are from a standing position using a one-handed grip.
Competitors will fire under their current NRA classification, or enter a higher class if so desired. Unclassified competitors will be placed in a temporary class called TYRO, until such time that seven official scores have been registered. Competitors are awarded BRC Award Points in the case of Match Winner, and at least the first 2 in every class. Competitors are welcome to shoot Rimfire or Centerfire, or both. Entry fees apply.
