PISTOL PERMIT CLASSES
Our club offers the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, better known as the Pistol Permit Class. This course is required to obtain a Connecticut permit to carry pistols and revolvers.
This course is open to the public.

MEMBERS
To enter the Members Only section, just click the "Member Login" button above. Your username is your email address on file with us. The first time you log in (or if you forget your password), select "Click here to Set/Reset Your Password" in the login window. You will be asked to enter your email. A reset link will be emailed to you. Open the link and enter a password. Then proceed with the login.

Our superior indoor shooting facility offers world class pistol and rifle matches, leagues and training events.

Bridgeport Rifle Club is a members only facility providing a 12 port, 50 foot indoor range with superior ventilation and air handling. The club facility is open to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A large club room, scoring area and kitchen provide ample space and amenities for Club events. Throughout the year numerous leagues, matches, and other events are open to the public. Bridgeport Rifle Club also offers the Pistol Permit Class to the general public.

Range Closures

NOTICE

The range will be closed during the classroom portion of BRC Pistol Permit Classes. This will be from 8:30am until approximately 1:00pm. Classes are scheduled on Sundays, usually monthly. Please check the CALENDAR as no email notices will be sent.
However, if the class is cancelled for any reason, the membership will be notified by email.

The range will be closed for general shooting during the Wednesday Night Pistol League from 4pm to 9pm beginning September 3rd and ending December 17th.

The range will be closed for general shooting during the BRC 900 League from 4:30pm to 9:00pm beginning on Monday, October 13th and will continue on the second Monday of each month until May 11th.

The range is closed during events, matches, some programs, Board meetings, BRC Pistol Permit classroom instruction, and maintenance.
Unless otherwise noted, the range is closed for general shooting during other shooting events.
